This is why college friends are the best friends ( sorry high school).
How did you enjoy your first year of college? What did you think of your freshman year of college? I know that my freshmen year had more surprises than I ever expected to come out of my first year at college. For the majority of my friends, their first year at college went the same way as mine with many surprises scattered throughout our year.
I was lucky enough to keep one really good friend from high school going into college. She knows who she is, and she is my best friend from high school that I was lucky enough to stay friends with in college. People will tell you all the time that high school relationships are not meant to last forever. Most of the time they were right, and in my case, they were correct except for one girl. I was also really lucky that my high school friend likes my new college friends.
All of my friends do something different some draw, others do YouTube, and some do a little bit of everything.
Thank you for making my freshman year the best.
I met some really awesome people literally on the first day of band camp (that was the start of my freshman year because we had to show up early to learn the marching show). Those friends are still with me today, so I guess this is shout out to them. They know who they are, and I hope they are all having a great summer, even the one that moved. Band was a really big part of my first year at college, and I have a strong feeling that I would not have made such great friends if I did not have band.
My friends were and still are such an important part of my college experience. They had my back when one friend decided that they no longer wanted to be in my life, but they did want to cause chaos for me. My friends were able to see that person was toxic, and now we no longer associate with that person. I could not ask for a better group of people to call friends, and they live up to my expectations every day. From breakups to stress to everything in between, those people have been there for me. I was there for them when they needed me. I just wanted to dedicate a post to the people that made my first year at college so amazing. Much love goes out to all of you, and I can’t wait for the start of our sophomore year.
